Three Paintings In One Day

Paintings # 45, #46, and # 47 of 100 in 100 Challenge

Painting45_SowTheSeedsSow the Seed

This painting took me a couple of days to finish, and it is for another project I have been working on. My inspiration for the project is not as consistent as I would like it to be, though I really want to complete it. I won’t say any more about it at this time.

Painting46_WhiteDaisy White Daisy ACEO

I love flowers and painting them is always a joy. I couldn’t resist putting the little red bug on the flower petal. This is a watercolor ACEO (Art Cards, Editions, and Originals) which is 2.5” x 3.5”. They are fun to paint and I fun to collect – a good way to collect original artwork for a very modest price. They can be matted and framed individually, in a group, or put in an album.

Mountain Cabin

This one is a 5” x 7” watercolor landscape painting done from a personal photograph of a scene in the Southwest. Always nice to paint.

It’s good to be ahead of the challenge because I know that weekends are hardest for me to keep up with in painting. In fact, I may spend a good part of the day listing some of my paintings on my Artfire site, so they will be available for purchase very soon.

Enjoy your weekend!

Arlene
