Another Pastel Portrait

I completed my last pastel portrait that I shared with you in progress and did another one over the weekend. Here is the one I finished before the weekend.  I like how she turned out. The one underneath is her not quite finished but with her reference photo I used.

The one I finished over the weekend was drawn from my imagination only.  I have slightly changed it since this photo below, but not by much, so I'll share here now.

I am thinking about joining in (a few days late) on the 29 Faces challenge again.. I just noticed that I did it last year (the graphic in the right sidebar), but I think I never finished the challenge.  Since I am already drawing lots of faces for the Face to Face workshop, I have a much better chance to finish this challenge this year! If I do decide to join in, it will give me much more practice with faces, and it will give me incentive to blog more often too! If so, look for the new graphic to appear later today.

At any rate, I'm having fun.  :)  What do you do for fun?

Lovely work, Arlene. I've been enjoying seeing your progress! I love drawing faces for fun, too, and art journaling.
